No — by definition, an OPC has exactly one member. If you need more than one owner, a Private Limited Company or LLP is the right structure instead.
Conversion is entirely voluntary today. Before 1 April 2021, an OPC had to wait two years and was forced to convert once paid-up capital crossed ₹50 lakh or turnover crossed ₹2 crore. The Companies (Incorporation) Second Amendment Rules, 2021 removed both limits, so conversion can now happen at any time, regardless of turnover or capital.
Yes — like a Private Limited Company, an OPC must get its accounts audited every year regardless of turnover.
Only an Indian citizen and resident can be a nominee, and they must give written consent before incorporation.
No — currently, only a resident Indian citizen can be the sole member or nominee of an OPC.
